Two airlifted to Derriford after a Navy jet crashed in Cornwall
Cornwall Air Ambulance has confirmed two patients were treated at the scene near Helston, but their injuries are not life-threatening

Two men have been airlifted to Derriford after a Navy fighter jet crashed in Cornwall.
The Hawk T1 from RNAS Culdrose came down near Helston first thing.
The MoD has confirmed both pilots managed to eject before the crash.
Cornwall Air Ambulance has confirmed two patients were treated at the scene, but neither suffered life-threatening injuries.
Police were also scrambled after the aircraft came down in a field near St Martin and locals are being urged to avoid the area.
Devon and Cornwall Police tweeted: "Two men have been airlifted to Derriford hospital to be treated for their injuries. Details of injuries not known at this time. Emergency services remain at the scene carrying out enquiries".
Cornwall Air Ambulance have since confirmed the injuries are not life-threatening: "Cornwall Air Ambulance was tasked to reports that a Hawk jet crashed in St Martin near Helston this morning. The crew responded at 9:48am.
"Critical care paramedics assessed and treated two patients who had ejected from the aircraft.
"They worked alongside the Coastguard SAR helicopter crew, South Western Ambulance Service, Devon and Cornwall Police and a team from RNAS Culdrose.
"The patients did not sustain life-threatening injuries".
South Western Ambulance Service added: “We were called on Thursday at 9.45am to reports of a plane crash in the area of St Martin’s near Helston in Cornwall.
"We sent land and air crews to attend the incident.
"We treated two patients at the scene and transported them to hospital for further care. Their condition is not thought to be life-threatening".
Replying to DC Police on Twitter, Ali said: "Thank goodness they are safe and on their way to UHPT.
"Devon and Cornwall are so proud of the military working and based here and the news of this crash would have concerned all of us".
Another well wisher posted: "Thoughts are with the crew and their families and hoping they have a quick recovery from any injuries they’ve sustained".
The MoD has said an investigation will begin in due course.
