Metropolitan PC charged with sexual assault

The officer is due before Magistrates on Wednesday

A serving Metropolitan Police officer has been charged with sexually assaulting a woman.

PC Julie Bragg, who is attached to the Met's north west command unit, is alleged to have sexually assaulted a victim on Thursday, 15 August 2024 while PC Bragg was off-duty.

She was suspended from duty in August 2024 and is due before Westminster Magistrates Court on Wednesday 23 April.

The Met says its Directorate of Professional Standards is aware.
