Thames Valley Police have confirmed that the death of a woman, who's body was found in the water at a Caversham marina, is no longer being treated as suspicious.

Police were called to Thames and Kennet Marina just after 10:30am on Saturday (April 1). The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 61-year-old man, from Caversham, was initially arrested on suspicion of murder. He has now been released and no further action to be taken.

Thames Valley Police have thanked locals for their patience whilst the investigation continues, and said that their thoughts remain with the woman's friends and family.
