A man's in a critical condition after a light airplane crash in North Yorkshire.

Police, fire and ambulance services were called to the collision involving the aircraft just after 5.10pm yesterday evening (Thursday 11th April) at an airfield in Church Fenton.

Officers remain at the scene today, where they're conducting joint visits with the Air Accident Investigation Branch (AAIB).

Two men - both in their 70s were taken to hospital - where they're both receiving treatment.
