Man dies after being recovered from the water at Cairnryan ferry port

A man has died after being rescued from the water at Cairnryan ferry terminal.
Emergency services were called to the port at 7.24am, to reports of a man in the water.
The 60 year old was taken to hospital where he died a short time later.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Enquiries are ongoing but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
"Health and Safety Executive will be notified in due course."
It is understood the incident was accidental.
Coastguard and Scottish Ambulance Service teams were also dispatched, with support from the air ambulance.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 07:24 to attend an incident in Cairnryan, Stranraer.
"Two ambulances and an air ambulance with trauma team were dispatched to the scene and one patient was transported to hospital.”
Ferry sailings between Cairnryan and Belfast will be disrupted for the rest of the day, with Stena's website reporting delays to all services heading to Northern Ireland.
A spokesperson for operator Stena said: "Stena Line can confirm that an incident occurred this morning (23 July) at approx. 07:15 hrs when a person entered the water at Loch Ryan Port.
"The man was recovered from the water and emergency services are attending the scene.”
