Man in court over Worcester murder

A 50 year-old has appeared in court accused of murder and attempted murder

A man's appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates court, charged with murder and attempted murder in Worcester.

50 year-old Damian Homer, who's from the city, was charged yesterday - after a woman was killed and another seriously injured on Haresfield Close on Saturday.

He's yet to admit or deny the charges, has been remanded in custody and will appear at Warwick Crown Court today.

61 year-old Wendy Francis died at the scene.

Her family paid tributes to her, calling her one in a million.

Another woman, aged 38, is in a stable condition in hospital, after receiving serious injuries.
