Man charged with murder after 66-year-old's death in Dover

A man's been charged with murder as detectives continue to investigate the death of another man in Dover.

It follows Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service being called to a disturbance on Anstee Road at 10:12pm on Monday 11 December.

A 66-year-old man was found with multiple injuries, and pronounced dead at the scene.

Two men were arrested on Friday in connection with detectives' investigation.

Ajay Porter, 36, of Oswald Road, Dover, was later charged with murder and possession of a bladed article place.

He's been remanded in custody and is due in Folkestone Magistrates Court on Saturday.

The other man arrested yesterday - a 35-year-old from the area - has been released without charge.

Kent Police are continuing for information from anyone who witnesses the incident, or has CCTV or dashcam footage relative to their investigation.
