Man charged following dog attack death in Staffordshire

A man has been charged following the death of a man who was attacked by two dogs in Staffordshire.

Ian Price, 52, died on 14 September last year, after being mauled by the animals outside a property on Main Road in Stonnall.

James Trimble-Pettit, 31, of Fradley, near Lichfield, has been charged with two counts of owning a dog dangerously out of control, where death is caused.

Trimble-Pettit is due to appear at Cannock Magistrates’ Court on 5 September.

Staffordshire Police said specialist officers continued to support Mr Price's family.
