Man arrested after suspected knife attack in Warwickshire

A man has been arrested after a suspected knife attack in Warwickshire.

Police were called just before midnight yesterday (19 July), to reports of a serious assault on Rowland Avenue in Studley.

Two boys were allegedly attacked with a bladed weapon, and reportedly had wounds which required hospital treatment.

A 40-year-old man from Studley was arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm.

DI Buckley said “First aid was reportedly provided to the boys who had received injuries by members of the public in advance of the ambulance’s arrival, for which we give our sincere thanks.”
