Man dies after police pursuit on M62 near Leeds
A man in his 30s was pronounced dead at the scene

A man has died after a car police had been pursuing ended up down an embankment on the M62 near Leeds.
A black Mercedes came off the motorway's eastbound carriageway between junctions 28 and 29 at Lofthouse early this morning (4th October).
Closures on the M62 have been in place today.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said, "At around 12.52am a black Mercedes C220 failed to stop for police on the M62 eastbound and a pursuit was authorised.
"A short time later, the vehicle collided with barriers when attempting to take the exit slip road at junction 29.
"The sole occupant of the vehicle, a man in his 30s, died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and will be offered specialist family liaison support.

The incident's been referred to the regulator the IOPC.
