Labour has won the general election, with Sir Keir Starmer appointed as the new Prime Minister.

It's been a shocking night for the SNP, who are only predicted to win 10 seats at Westminster.

The Conservatives are predicted to win 131 and the Lib Dems are expected to win 61 seats.

Reform UK are also predicted to win 13 seats - meaning they could overtake the SNP.

The Results in Scotland:

The first Scottish declaration of the night saw Labour gain Kilmarnock and Loudon from the SNP.

Labour's Douglas McAllister also gained the West Dunbartonshire seat from the SNP.

The SNP's Pete Wishart has been re-elected in Perth and Kinross-shire with 18,928 votes.

Mr Wishart has now been elected to the House of Commons for the seventh time.

Labour have gained in North Ayrshire and Arran, Hamilton and Clyde Valley, Motherwell, Wishaw and Carluke, Glasgow North East, Paisley and Renfrewshire South, East Renfrewshire, East Kilbride and Strathaven, Midlothian, Paisley and Renfrewshire North, Stirling and Strathallan, Glasgow East, Livingston, Cowdenbeath and Kirkcaldy, Glasgow North, Alloa and Grangemouth.

The gains for Labour means the party now has all six out of six of Glasgow's constituencies.

We will have live updates from the general election throughout the night both on-air and online.
