Hundreds of people are expected to join the family of Keaton Slater in Coventry to pay tribute to the 12-year-old one week since he was killed in a hit-and-run.
Well-wishers have been invited to wear sky blue for the Coventry City fan and come together to hear prayers, light smoke flares, release balloons and hold a minute's applause for Keaton.
Police have continued their investigation into Keaton's death and are still looking for 21-year-old Dolars Aleksanders, who is wanted on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
West Midlands Police believe Aleksanders was behind the wheel during the incident, and have said the black BMW which hit Keaton was travelling at well above the speed limit.
A JustGiving page set up to raise money for Keaton's family has raised over £50,000 from over 3,000 people, as local schools and community groups have helped out with fundraising events.
The vigil will be held at the Radford War Memorial green from 7pm, with speeches from a compere and Rev Benedict before blue smoke flares will be lit, balloons will be released, and a one minute round of applause will be held.
Crimestoppers are offering a £10,000 reward to anyone who provides information which leads to Aleksanders's arrest.
