Kate, Princess of Wales in hospital for two weeks

The Princess of Wales has been given abdominal surgery and is to stay in hospital for 10-14 days.
A statement from Kensington palace says the surgery was planned and was a success.
Doctors at The London Clinic say the procedure was successful, and Kate's being kept in to recover for at least the next ten days.
Kensington Palace says she's unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.
A statement from Kensington Palace said: Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales was admitted to hospital yesterday for planned abdominal surgery.
"The surgery was successful and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for ten to fourteen days, before returning home to continue her recovery. Based on the current medical advice, she is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter.
"The Princess of Wales appreciates the interest this statement will generate. She hopes that the public will understand her desire to maintain as much normality for her children as possible; and her wish that her personal medical information remains private.
"Kensington Palace will, therefore, only provide updates on Her Royal Highness' progress when there is significant new information to share.
"The Princess of Wales wishes to apologise to all those concerned for the fact that she has to postpone her upcoming engagements. She looks forward to reinstating as many as possible, as soon as possible."

The pair led the campaign to support mental health when it launched in April 2020. It was created by Public Health England to highlight the importance of caring for mental health during Coronavirus. The TV film was narrated by the couple, including new advice on how to help people manage lockdown and the effect of Covid-19 on mental health.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge celebrate a decade of marriage
William and Kate celebrated 10 years of marriage in April 2021. On the 29th April they shared portraits and a family video. The video featured them running around with their children, smiling and toasting marshmallows. Their message read: "Thank you to everyone for the kind messages on our wedding anniversary. We are enormously grateful for the 10 years of support we have received in our lives as a family. W & C."

In May 2021, the couple ventured out on a royal tour of Scotland. During their visit they returned to the University of St Andrews where they first met.

Prince William and Kate as well as Prince George and Princess Charlotte attended the Queen's funeral on the 19th September 2022.
The King's Coronation
Following Queen Elizabeth's death one of the first things the new King did was to make his son William the Prince of Wales, making Kate the Princess of Wales.
In May 2023 Prince William played a significant part in his father's coronation. After pledging his loyalty and allegiance to the new King, the Prince and Princess of Wales joined the new King and Queen on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
