Italy has scooped all awards and prizes this year, from beating England at the Euro finals to rock and rolling Eurovision.
As we near the end of 2021 heat radio spoke with Bake Off winner Giuseppe Dell'Arno about how great a year it's been for his home country.
"Italy also won the World Pastry Cup this year! I think this is only the third time in the history of this competition that Italy has managed to grab it," said Giuseppe.
"An Italian also won the Nobel Prize for physics this year."
The triumphs for Italy in 2021 don't end here as the country also won the men's 100-metre final at the Olympics, with Lamont Marcell Jacobs succeeding Usain Bolt as the 'World's Fastest Man'.
Moreover, Italy was present at Strictly Come Dancing via pro Giovanni Pernice as many people have pointed out on social media.
"Italy has done it again," one person wrote on Twitter, before congratulating Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni on their win after the Grand Final on Saturday 18th December.
