It's emerged the government is advertising a contract to manage two migrant centres in Kent.

The six year deal advertised online here would be worth £521 million.

The Home Office is looking for an operator which would be required to manage sites in Dover and Manston.

One of those is the Western Jet Foil - where people found in small boats first arrive - and the Manston Reception Centre.

Whoever takes on the contract would be asked to provide accommodation, healthcare and catering services - and a safe environment to process arrivals.

The latest figures show 471 people crossed made the journey to the UK in nine small boats yesterday.
