Danny Jones shares moment son discovers Masked Singer appearance
The McFly singer was declared the winner of the latest series of the show
McFly singer Danny Jones has shared the moment his son found out that his father had won The Masked Singer.
Jones, from Bolton, was revealed to the public as the winner of the show after being voted by the audience to have given the best performances.
A number of other famous faces took part in the show, including television presenter Lorraine Kelly, singer Lemar and Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas.
Now, Jones has posted the moment he and his family watched on as he was declared the winner and revealed as Piranha.
Danny and his family were watching the ITV show when his son, Cooper, realised that his father was the winner of the show.
Cooper was ecstatic to see his dad appear on the programme, running to his dad to give him a hug as the family celebrated his win.
The McFly guitar player took on the role of Piranha on the show and had managed to fool judges Davina McCall, Rita Ora, Mo Gilligan and Jonathan Ross as they all failed to guess who was behind the mask.
In a post he shared to his social media accounts, Danny acknowledged his victory, saying: "The secret is out! So.....talk to me, what was your favourite song?"
Danny now joins Nicola Roberts, Joss Stone, Natalie Imbruglia and Charlie Roberts as the winners of the show.
