Counselling and wellbeing support offered as Ammanford school reopens after stabbing

A school in Carmarthenshire where two teachers and a student were stabbed is reopening today.
It's five days since Ysgol Dyffryn Aman in Ammanford went into lockdown with the school remaining closed on Thursday and Friday.
Carmarthenshire County Council says a broad range of wellbeing support will be offered to pupils, teachers and staff as pupils return.
A dedicated education and child psychology team will available on site for the next two weeks.
Counselling will also be available and referrals for 1:1 support will be made as appropriate.
Council Leader, Cllr. Darren Price said: “As a County Council, we are doing everything that we can to support the community of Ysgol Dyffryn Aman and we have set out a wellbeing support plan to help the pupils and staff.
“This will be a joint support approach, as we are adopting a collaborative approach to ensure that all individuals affected receive the support they require. This includes coordinating between internal and external resources to provide holistic assistance.”
All the victims - two teachers and a student - have now been released from hospital.
