Hot dog eaters compete in "world cup" qualifier
Qualifying for the championships took place in the UK for the first time

Competitors have battled it out in West Sussex to see who could eat the most hot dogs in ten minutes.
The winners of a qualifying event in Selsey have been announced ahead of next year's world championships in New York.
Max Stanford claimed victory by wolfing down 34 hot dogs and buns.
A dozen competitors took part in the event called Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest.
It pays homage to Nathan's Famous, the host of the event, as well as a chain of fast-food restaurants specialising in hot dogs.
The annual event took place at Seal Bay Resort's White Horse complex in Selsey and marked the first time it was held in the UK.
The winners were announced on social media by Major League Eating.
The next round for the world championship men's and women's contests will take place in Coney Island, New York, on 4 July 2024.
A hot dog eating competition has occurred every 4 July in Coney Island since 1916, the year the first Nathan's Famous restaurant was opened.
