Doorstep clap tonight in memory of 9-year-old Jordan Banks

People far and wide are being invited to stand on their doorsteps and clap for Jordan Banks this evening (13th May).
The 9-year-old was struck by lightening while he was playing football in Blackpool on Tuesday.
The NHS-style clap will be happening at 7pm.
Jordan Wylie, best known for being one of the Hunters from the TV series Hunted took to Facebook to spread the message:
Jordan's story has touched the whole of the UK with #RIPJordanBanks trending on Twitter.
Many people have been posted 9 footballs to represent his age.
People are still paying their respects today at Common Edge playing fields in Blackpool and laying flowers, football boots and shirts in his memory.

Jordan's Co-Headteachers at Stanley Primary School say the school is "completely numb" after losing a "bright and bubbly" member of their family:
“Jordan was loved by staff and pupils alike. He was a very determined young man which was demonstrated by his charity efforts at the start of the year.
“His parents and family should be very proud of the young man he had become. He was so friendly and showed great compassion towards fellow pupils.
“Jordan’s classmates have told us told how funny he was, always cracking jokes. We are beyond devastated that we won’t see his cheerful face again.
“Our thoughts are with Jordan’s family and will offer them any support we can.
“When the time is right we will plan a fitting tribute with his classmates and family.”
Cllr Lynn Williams, Leader of Blackpool Council, added:
“The whole town is shocked and devastated by the tragic accident that took place on Tuesday night on Common Edge Road playing fields.
“Our thoughts are with Jordan’s family and friends. I can’t imagine what they are going through but I hope they can take some comfort from the out pouring of love and support from the whole community.
“Our critical incident team have been at the school offering support to staff and pupils during this difficult time.
“A dedicated space has been created for pupils who require more support and we will do all we can to assist them.
The flag at Blackpool Town Hall was lowered to half-mast and Blackpool Tower and the Illuminations arches were lit in red for the keen Liverpool FC fan.
Donations are also continuing to pour in on GoFundMe which is to help the family with funeral costs and anything they may need in the future.
