'Next thing I knew I was in the ambulance': the LUCKY Leicester fan seeing his team make history

One lucky Leicester fan will be watching his team make European history tonight, after falling down the stand in the away end at PSV Eindhoven.
Like many Leicester fans, Andy was enjoying following his club abroad, but it turned out that right-back Ricardo Pereira's last-gasp winner was the last thing he remembered.
In a steep away stand that was sent into delirium as the Foxes surely advanced to the club's first ever European semi-final, he lost his footing and fell down the steps, knocking himself completely unconscious:
'I looked around to see my friends celebrating and then, the next thing I knew, I was in the back of the ambulance. I fell down the stairs backwards and stewards from LCFC who were in the away end, they came over; I've since learned their names - Chris, Phil and Gary, and a firefighter called Matthew - they all helped until the Dutch paramedics got there.'
'I banged my head, knocked myself out, when I came round I had some sort of seizure, or seizures, I don't know how many because I can't remember it at all.'
'Went into Hospital, they did an MRI scan to check my brain, and by this time I'm already making jokes saying can you find it? Did some x-rays, nothing was broken apart from my nose, which is amazing really. So yeah, quite lucky.'
"He was laying over three rows of seats"
Chris Ward was the steward that first found Andy, after he fell right by his feet down the stand - he told us what Andy couldn't remember:
'When I got down to Andy he was laying over three rows of seats, that's when he had his seizure. I have spoken with Andy on Twitter and I am glad he's on the mend', Chris said.
'We had to take his chain from round his neck because he was gasping for his last breath, and when we turned him over onto the cold floor to start CPR, he started to breath again.'
'If it wasn't for the training that Leicester City Football Club do, I wouldn't have known what to do in that situation.'
Just a scratch?
Despite suffering the traumatic experience, and what could've been a much more serious situation if it wasn't for the quick response from stewards, Andy was keen to get back supporting Leicester as soon as possible.
He was offered free parking for the Aston Villa game by the club last weekend so that he didn't have to walk, but decided it was best to focus up on healing before getting back to the King Power - but nothing was going to stop him from watching his team make history:
"(I'm) still not fit enough to go tonight, but I will be watching on TV - definitely", he said.
