Racegoers are getting dressed up today for Styles day at the Cheltenham Festival.

This year, the festival is encouraging vintage and borrowed outfits.

There'll be a chance for fans to win an award for their outfits.

Ladies Day sees racegoers compete for the crown of best dressed.

Sarah Speakman, from the Cheltenham Hat Company, has been helping people find the best hat for the races for years.

Sarah said: "I think now we're so obsessed with social media that not only do you need the perfect hat to finish off your beautiful outfit, but you do need to look really good in all the photos that you and your friends take.

"I think a hat is absolutely essential, I don't think you'd be shortlisted if you weren't wearing a hat. It complements you and your style and what you're wearing on the day - and puts the finishing touch to what you're wearing.

"A half hit is a particular favourite - they do the same as a hat but sit on a hair band so you can have your hair done and it will stay looking perfect."

Today's race card has had to be altered, following the cancellation of the Cross Country Chase due to a waterlogged track.

It means six races will take place on Wednesday rather than the planned seven.

The revised times for today's races are:

THE RACES:

13:45 - Gallagher Novices' Hurdle

14.30 - Brown Advisory Novices' Hurdle

15.15 - Coral Cup Hurdle

16.00 (Feature Race of the Day) - Champion Chase

16.50 - Grand Annual Chase

17.30 - Champion Bumper
