Flights resume after Liverpool Airport power failure fixed
Problems with Air Traffic Control meant all flights had to be grounded earlier

Flights in and out of Liverpool Airport have resumed after a power failure caused all planes to be grounded earlier.
Airport bosses say engineers have now fixed the issue.
In a statment earlier the Airport said:
"Unfortunately, a power failure is impacting Air Traffic Control and aircraft operations are temporarily suspended.
"Passengers, or those meeting flights, should contact their airline for the latest flight information.
"Engineers are working to resolve this as soon as possible, with updates to follow."
In the meantime it means flights that were destined for Liverpool are being diverted.
Flight tracking website Flight Radar 24 shows one flight being diverted to nearby Manchester Airport.
