A 12-year-old girl has appeared at Youth Court in Leicester today (16/12) charged with the manslaughter of a pensioner.

80-year-old Bhim Kholi was injured during an incident in Franklin Park in Braunstone Town on the 1st September, and died at the QMC in Nottingham the following day.

After a short hearing the defendant, who cannot be named because of her age, was granted bail and ordered to appear at Leicester Crown Court on February 3

A 15-year-old boy has already been charged with the murder of Mr Kohli and is due to appear in court later this week.
