Now you can find out who has unfriended you on Facebook

Ever wondered who has unfriended or unfollowed you on social media? While follower lists on Instagram and Twitter are public, Facebook isn't. Now, this app makes it much easier for you to find out who you have lost in the online world.

So, if you've noticed a sudden drop in online friends or followers, this app could be just what you're looking for. While it can be pretty devastating to find out that someone has unfriended you, there's always that bit of your brain which is really curious right?

Although it isn't new, this app and web browser plugin has recently become very popular and here's how it works.

After logging into Who Deleted Me it will look at all your current friends and let you know if anyone drops off your friend list. It will also let you know if they have just deactivated their account, or if they have simply unfriended you!

It will also tell you how many new friends you have on the social networks - so it's not all bad news.

According to the app's website this is how it works, 'The first time you visit, we'll save a copy of your friends list. When you come back we can compare your friends list as it is now to how it was before. That allows us to show you who isn't on your friends list anymore, and any new friends you made.'

Who Deleted Me cannot backdate the data, however after you've logged into the app or website you will be able to see anyone who unfriends you from now on!

Metro.co.uk reports that Who Deleted Me was created by a developer based in Devon and is available for iOS and Android devices as well as being an extension for Chrome.
