This Morning fans call for Rylan Clark and Josie Gibson to be permanent hosts
They are presenting the show this week!
It's only been a few months since Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley were announced as Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby's permanent replacements, but after some negative feedback from viewers, This Morning's viewing figures have reportedly plummeted.
Whilst Ben and Cat are currently on a Summer break, bosses are mixing things up with guest presenters, and this week is the turn of Rylan Clark and Josie Gibson.
Presenting the show together this morning (Monday 12th August), viewers of the show were quick to express their love for Rylan and Josie's on-screen chemistry, with many begging bosses to get them signed-up permanently.
One wrote: 'These different presenters are a breath of fresh air! Much better', with another adding: 'Love these two, get them on every day'. Another added: 'Wish they were on all the time at least they have a personality 😊😊😎😎😎'. (sic)
Another viewer commented: 'Josie and Rylan, perfect combination. Made TH feel welcome and relaxed! Now that’s how it should be done'. (sic)
Somebody else wrote: 'Love these two!!! The last few weeks have been so refreshing ❤️', with another saying: 'Petition to make Rylan & Josie permanent host #ThisMorning'. (sic)
Other fans were loving the show last week, as Josie presented alongside Irish host Craig Doyle.
Speaking during an interview with Yahoo! earlier this year, Rylan ruled himself out of a permanent hosting role on the popular daytime show.
He told the publication: "I worked at This Morning for, what, six years? And then I left and I got used to sleeping in and now it's so nice to be able to just pop in for a week, see everyone, have a lovely time, give away some money and then go home.
“And at the end of the day if I do anything wrong, ain't my show, don’t care!"
