Since it first hit our screens back in April 2022, The 1% Club has become one of TV's most popular quiz shows around, as viewers play along at home in the ultimate IQ test.

Hosted by comedian Lee Mack, the show is growing more popular by the day, so much so that ITV/STV bosses have now renewed the show for two further series, including a Rollover series which will air in December.

When is The 1% Club next on TV?

Series five started at 8.40pm on Saturday 11th October, with weekly episodes every Saturday night on ITV/STV.

Will there be more series of The 1% Club?

Yes! Bosses have already confirmed the show has been renewed for a sixth series.

Host Lee Mack said of the new series: “Once again I am delighted to cause household arguments, as kids mock their parents for being not as bright as them. But us grown-ups can stay out as late as we want, so we get the last laugh.”

What is The 1% Club Rollover?

ITV/STV bosses have now confirmed a new version of the show called The 1% Club Rollover, which will air across five consecutive nights in December.

The new premise means the prize pot will rollover to the next day's show if it's not won, meaning there could potentially be a huge £500,000 up for grabs. Another twist for the Rollover series is that the player who gets to the 1% question automatically comes back to the next show, meaning they could win more than once!

Sue Murphy Head of Factual Entertainment ITV said: “The 1% Club Rollover as event TV is a perfect fit. The series continues to go from strength to strength and has become a must watch in homes across the country on Saturday nights. This special Rollover week will really be a primetime event that will have the nation hooked. Five nights of The 1% Club and Lee Mack… What’s not to like?”

Can I apply for The 1% Club?

Applications for the fifth series opened on Friday 21st February 2025, with the website stating: 'This show is all about how people’s brains work rather than what you learnt at school. Because of this, people of any age or background should have an equal chance of making it into The 1% Club.

'We encourage people from all ethnic backgrounds, sexuality and those who are deaf and/ or disabled to apply as we want to show a true representation of the UK. If you need special assistance in order to complete this application, please contact casting@magnumtv.co.uk.'

Applications closed on Friday 26th September 2025.
