Our Yorkshire Farm fans gutted as final show airs

It's a huge hit with fans!

Ever since Our Yorkshire Farm first hit our screens back in 2018, the show has been a huge hit as viewers witness the lives of married couple Amanda and Clive Owen and their nine children at their sheep farm in Swaledale, North Yorkshire.

After Amanda and Clive recently admitted they are currently going through a 'rocky patch' in their relationship, viewers of the hit show were left devastated during Tuesday night's episode when they discovered it was the last in the series.

The emotional final episode saw the couple's youngest daughter Nancy head off to start school, something she has watched all of her brothers and sisters do before her as she stayed and helped on the farm.

However, the main talking point from the episode was that it was the final in the series, with no confirmation of another!

Fans were all left asking the same thing on social media, with many wondering if the popular Channel 5 show will return for a sixth series due to the poignant ending.

One wrote: 'To me, the last programme of the series had a real sense of finality, as if it’s the very end and there won’t be any more. I do hope that I am wrong!'.

Another commented: 'Sad to see Our Yorkshire Farm series end. What a wonderful, genuine, kind, hard working family you all are', with a third writing: 'Very poignant & what seemed a very final end to the series hope it's not the last series #OurYorkshireFarm'. (sic)

So far, Channel 5 are yet to reveal if the show has been renewed for another series, but due to its popularity, we certainly hope so!

It was earlier this year Amanda and Clive released a statement about their marriage, following reports they were living apart.

Speaking to PA Agency, the couple said: "With the TV show and the books we've always aimed to show the reality of life on the farm, and just like any marriage we have our stresses and strains, coupled with all the complexities of what we do on the farm and bringing up nine kids.

"We're a normal family and we've never said our marriage is perfect. Unfortunately, the constant intrusion into our lives from the media has amplified a rocky patch that we're going through," the couple told PA news agency.

"We ask that the media respect our privacy as we work through this."

The couple first met in 1996, when Amanda worked as a contract shepherdess on Clive's farm in Swaledale when she was just 21-years-old.

They went on to marry in 2000 and now have nine children together, Annas, Violet, Edith, Raven, Clemmy, Nancy, Reuben, Miles and Sidney.
