Netflix have announced some fantastic new series will be added to the online streaming service in February. With everything from new Netflix Originals to TV classics, and blockbuster films, fans will have a lot to look forward to.

We'll get the chance to watch films such Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Magic Mike XXL, The Revenant, and Hellboy, as well as some Netflix Original films and series.

This month's Netflix Originals include the likes of Altered Carbon and Everything Sucks! amongst many more.

Starting on the 2nd February, Altered Carbon is a new series based on the classic cyberpunk novel of the same name. Set more than 300 years in the future, human minds are digitised and downloaded from body to body.

Then, later on in February we'll get the chance to watch Everything Sucks! The coming of age story follows two groups of high school misfits (the AV club and the drama club), set in 1996.

Next month, we'll also be able to see some great new Netflix films like FullMetal Alchemist. This film follows alchemist Edward Elric, as he searches for a way to restore his brother's body, however, the military government and mysterious monsters are watching closely.

Coming out on Valentine's Day, we can look forward to Love Per Square Foot. This is described as a quirky Bollywood romantic comedy, which follows a couple who enter into a marriage of convenience, allowing them to buy a flat in Mumbai together.

Netflix started the year by adding some fantastic series to their growing list of shows. New shows included the hit TV show Friends. Although it's been a massive 14 years since Friends, starring Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer ended, the show has continued to be popular around the world with the touring FriendsFest selling out across the UK two years in a row.

Along with the well-known and loved series, Netflix also added a number of original shows this month including Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee Collections and weekly episodes from Dynasty, whilst Riverdale returned for a second season.
