Love Island 2021 could be moved to Jersey🌴
Bosses are considering alternatives to sunny Mallorca!
With the Coronavirus pandemic still ongoing not only in the UK but across the world, there's growing concern among Love Island fans that the 2021 series may be postponed, just like the 2020 series last year.
However, after host Laura Whitmore seemingly confirmed the popular dating show would most definitely be going ahead this Summer, it looks like bosses are doing everything in their power to ensure a smooth and safe series.
According to new reports, bosses are strongly considering moving the series, which is usually filmed out in Mallorca, to the stunning island of Jersey.
A source told the Mirror, "The Channel Islands get plenty of sunshine so it makes sense to hold Love Island there if we can’t get back to Spain.
"Either way we’re going to put out a belting series. Viewers have missed Love Island for the whole of 2020 and they’re desperate to have it back. They’re going to love what we do, wherever we do it."
Jersey gets highs of 20 degrees Celsius in July, so although it's not quite the sizzling temperatures of Mallorca, at least the sun will be out for this year's Islanders.☀️
The stunning island has also recently been shown off in all of its glory during ITVBe's The Real Housewives of Jersey, which stars the likes of Ashley Cairney, Hedi Green, Kate Taylor and Tessa Hartmann.
