Love Island's Jacques DELETES all trace of Paige from social media
He left the villa to save their relationship
It feels like an eternity ago since Jacques O'Neill made the tough decision to quit this year's series of Love Island following his behaviour at Casa Amor, despite admitting his feelings for co-star Paige Thorne.
After Jacques left viewers in tears by revealing he was leaving in order to save his relationship with Paige, and that he would be waiting on the outside for her, things quickly took a turn when Adam Collard coupled up with her.
As Adam and Paige have grown closer in the last two weeks, going exclusive and talking about their future on the outside together, it looks like Jacques has given up hope on a relationship with the paramedic.
The former Castleford Tigers player has now decided to delete all trace of Paige from his Instagram account, including all photos and videos of them during their time on the show together.
The only remaining photos from Jacques' time in the villa include group shots with the boys, and solo snaps.
Since leaving the villa on Tuesday 12th July, the 23-year-old has been open about his mental health, admitting since he left the show he is feeling much more like himself. Earlier this week, he told fans: 'I just want you all to know that I’m in such a better place mentally. A huge reason for that is because of all the love and support I have received! I’d be in a much darker place if it wasn’t for all of your kind words, so thank you again I appreciate it so much ❤️'. (sic)
Meanwhile, fans have noticed Jacques has been spending a lot of time back in the UK with co-star Antigoni Buxton.
As well as treating their mums to brunch last week, Jacques and Antigoni enjoyed a cosy night out on Wednesday 27th July, with the pair sharing photos together on their social media accounts.
Although the pair haven't spoken about the extent of their relationship, after posting a snap together last week, fans were quick to speculate if they were dating.
One wrote: 'U 2 look perfect together u would make a lovely couple', with another writing: 'Please get together 😍🔥🙌'.
A third added: 'You guys actually look quite cute together 😍🔥❤️🔥'. (sic)
We have to say, they do make a good looking couple! 👀
