Harriett was left in tears

With Casa Amor apparently on the horizon, things are continuing to heat up in the Love Island villa, and last night's show (Wednesday 26th June) took a seriously DRAMATIC turn amongst the Islanders.

As well as Joey Essex seemingly getting his head turned by new girl Jessy Potts, the group played a game of Never Have I Ever, which led to Harriett Blackmore storming off in tears following a savage remark from 21-year-old Ciaran Davies.

When the question 'Never have I ever been two-faced about someone in this villa' was asked, none of the Islanders took a drink, which led Welsh boy Ciaran to say: "For instance, people make comments and then straight after be all nice to me. They say: 'You know, for instance, you need to be careful with him and then oh you're actually really good Ciaran with her. You treat her so well.' So cut the bulls--t, that's Harriett!"

When a shocked Harriett asked Ciaran to elaborate on his words, he said: "I just explained it. You made a comment of Nicole apparently needs to be careful with me and then the day after going: "Oh, Ciaran, you're so good.'"

Harriett hit back saying: "Cool, when you're making comments about other Islanders and I'm having a conversation with my friend, I'm going to say that. Yeah? Cool. Honestly, you're so immature, it's actually embarrassing... next!"

But it was Ciaran's next comment that left viewers and his fellow Islanders with open mouths. He proceeded to say: "Alright, cool, I haven't been like second choice three times in here, so..."

When asked to repeat his words, he said: "I said you're the one who has been second choice like three times in here so..."

Harriett started to cry follow the hurtful comment, before storming off from the fire pit with a number of the other girls.

After witnessing the awkward moment, viewers dubbed Ciaran 'savage' for the comment, but many found his words amusing. Others were more sympathetic towards Harriett.

One wrote: 'To be honest Harriet’s comment did not warrant that sort of response from Ciaran which was really nasty & people sitting there laughing at it was disgusting. It really shows the dynamics of what’s happening in there & no one sticking up for her.'.

One wrote: 'This was the most legendary moment of the whole season so far', with another adding: 'I’m glad Ciaran is defending himself , they all talk down on him and his age all the time'.

Another wrote: 'It was horrible how he said it but Harriet needed to hear it'. (sic)
