Two former Islanders make shock return to Love Island villa😮

Although the current series of Love Island hasn't exactly been the most successful for love, what we have had over the last two months is a constant stream of drama, mainly thanks to this year's erratic Islanders and twists and turns from producers.

With just under two weeks left until the final, it appears bosses aren't slowing down, bringing back not one, but TWO former Islanders from earlier in the series.

At the end of Monday night's episode, which saw both Emma and Boris dumped after a public vote, a first-look trailer appeared showing former Islanders Blu and Megan making an emphatic return to the villa.

Speaking about her return to the show, Megan said: "I'm excited to go back in, I think I left quite abruptly and I'm going back in for some clarity. It was an easy decision to make. When you can't speak to people for a couple of weeks and have to watch them on telly every night, you want some answers."

Blu, who was the second Islander to be dumped, added: "There's a bit of open space now and people know the game a little bit more, so hopefully the couple of girls I've got my eyes on are willing to explore.

"I told you all from the get go I'm not leaving and I'm not f---ing leaving!"

Despite the shock twist, it appears not all fans of the show are happy about the pair's return, with many fans thinking the producers are on a mission to 'sabotage' Shakira.

One wrote: 'THEY ARE SETTING MY GIRL SHAKIRA UP', with another adding: 'What do the producers have against Shakira? 👀'. A third then commented: 'Shakira actually cannot catch a break 😭'. (sic)

Somebody else moaned: 'Why bring back someone the public voted off ??? Does our decision mean nothing ??', with another adding: 'public voted her off for a reason, there’s an agenda being pushed here'. (sic)

However, it wasn't all negative, some fans were buzzing to see both Megan and Blu return.

One wrote: 'BEST TWIST EVERRRRR! I was gutted when both left 😍🔥', with another writing: 'This season has been unreal icl👏🔥'. (sic)

Although Blu didn't really get a chance to make any connections during his first stint, due to being dumped early on, Dublin girl Megan was coupled up with Tommy, but she also had a connection with Irish rugby player Conor.

Conor is now coupled up with Shakira, who Megan didn't have the greatest of friendships with, so we can't imagine this one will go down too well.
