Jeremy Kyle shocked at Coronation Street's Kylie Platt lookalike on his show

Jeremy Kyle was left in shock during a recent episode when he noticed what looked like a familiar face on stage.

Host Jeremy welcomed a girl called Crystal onto the stage after her boyfriend accused her of stopping him seeing his son.

But he seemed to be more interested in Crystal's appearance than her story. The host was quick to point out she looked remarkably similar to ex Coronation Street actress Paula Lane (AKA Kylie Platt).

He said, "She looks like that girl off Corrie! Kylie has come alive again!"

Kylie, who was played by actress Paula Lane, last appeared on Coronation Street back in 2016 after her character's tragic death on the soap.

In a story-line that gripped the nation, Kylie was stabbed by local thug Clayton and died in her husband David Platt's arms in a heart wrenching scene on the famous cobbles.

The actress first joined the soap back in 2010.
