EastEnders spoilers: Stacey Fowler is FINALLY returning to the Square
She's back and she's better
It feels like forever since we last saw Stacey Fowler on The Square but she's finally returning as actress Lacey Turner has been spotted on set.
The last time Stacey was seen in Walford was back in August 2019 after it came to light that she hit Phil Mitchell over the head with a wrench after he fought with Martin Fowler and Kat Slater.
She was forced to flee Albert Square alongside her hubby Martin but he returned after Bex Fowler attempted to end her own life.
Martin pretty much turned to the dark side and worked alongside Ben Mitchell in the hopes that Stacey would be able to return.
Things spiralled out of control and after Martin lied and told Stacey he had a one night stand with ex-wife Sonia Fowler, which resulted in Stacey ending their marriage. Martin was later left heartbroken when it dawned on him that his estranged wife had a new boyfriend, Jerome.
Stacey made a brief return when she met up with Martin (and he said he had cheated), and also made a cameo on the phone to Kush Kazemi who was concerned about Jean Slater, but in upcoming months she'll return to Walford.
It's not known why she's returning but Jean has been struggling following the death of Daniel and Martin and Sonia did actually get together after his lies - how will Stacey react? And will she be returning with her new man Jerome?

In more EastEnders related news, the BBC soap is currently airing old episodes and a spin-off with Stacey Dooley after they were forced to stop filming because of coronavirus.
The cast and crew were spotted back on set this week and have started filming again while adhering to government guidelines and social distancing measures.
When the show returns later this year it''ll make its comeback with four episodes per week but they'll be at a slightly shorter duration of 20 minutes.
Jon Sen, Executive Producer, has said, "Resuming production is incredibly exciting and challenging in equal measure.
"Since we postponed filming we’ve been working non-stop trialling techniques, filming methods and new ways of working so that we can return to screens four times a week – as EastEnders should be.
"Filming will inevitably be a more complex process now so creating 20 minute episodes will enable us to ensure that when we return, EastEnders will still be the show the audience know and love."
