With his seizures intensifying, Oliver Battersby returns to hospital where concerned doctors tell his parents Leanne Battersby and Steve McDonald they think things might be even more serious than they thought.
With potential mitochondrial disease at play, Leanne and Steve try to stay positive but when Nick Tilsley delivers a dose of reality, Leanne is not pleased.
Elsewhere, Gemma Winter is already feeling better after joining a support group for post-natal depression and wants to do something to help other mums in the same position as her.
Ed Bailey finally confronts Bistro manager Don for his racist remarks, and his son Michael vows to do everything he can to stop his daughter, Tianna, growing up in a world where racism exists.

Gemma's been attending the post-natal depression support group for a few weeks, and is relieved to find she's not alone in struggling to adapt to motherhood.
With Chesney accompanying her to some sessions, Gemma confides in him that she's starting to feel a major improvement in her moods.
Back at home, Chesney and Cathy convince Gemma that she should start a vlog talking about her experience with post-natal depression.
With their support, Gemma's first vlog takes aim at the FreshCo advertising campaign, who sold the dream of a 'perfect life' that isn't attainable.
Elsewhere, Audrey and Arthur return amorous and in high spirits from the dance. During a tender moment, they share a kiss.
The next day, Tyrone stumbles across Evelyn and Arthur enjoying breakfast together. Tyrone assumes he's stayed the night.
Meanwhile, after another seizure Oliver is rushed to hospital where doctors tell Steve and Leanne that things may be more serious than they first thought, and that Oliver might have mitochondrial disease.
Leanne and Steve set up vigil at Oliver's bedside in the hospital and, determined to stay positive, wile away the hours sharing memories from his happy childhood.
But when Nick joins them he brings an unwelcome dose of reality to the scene and takes a more serious approach, upsetting Leanne, and the pair fall out.
As the Bistro prepares for their big launch party, Michael is dismayed to see Don continue to pick on his dad - but even worse is Ed not standing up for himself.
The night of the party arrives and Michael wants to skip the party but Aggie isn't about to let an idiot like Don intimidate them.
When Don continues to jibe at Edison with racist remarks, Ed finally snaps and tells him that he's dealt with racism all his life and he won't be bullied any more.
The atmosphere is tense but Don finally backs down. Observing quietly, James slinks out of the party, more convinced than ever that his only option now is to quit football.
After the party, Michael arrives home to his small family and tells Tianna that there's no place for racism in the world.
