Coronation Street spoilers: Jonny Connor's criminal past revealed

Newcomer Scott has been lurking above the pub for ages now on Coronation Street, but we still weren't clear on what his links to Johnny Connor were - until now.

With Johnny off in France for the last few months, Scott has been making himself at home in the flat above the pub but now Johnny's back in Weatherfield we'll finally learn about the criminal history that links the two men.

Adam warns Nicky to stay away from Daniel

Elsewhere, Adam Barlow learns the truth about his friend Daniel Osbourne's relationship with escort Nicky and warns her to stay away from him.

Dev Alahan worries about how he'll support his family, Debbie Webster's suspicions about Abi Franklin deepen and Tim Metcalfe finally begins to consider the possibility that his dad Geoff isn't who he thought he was.

With Scott settling into life above the pub, Jenny invites him to come for dinner with her and Johnny, but a nervous Johnny is on edge.

While Jenny cooks, Scott reminisces about the crime he and Johnny committed over 40 years ago, and Johnny worries about Jenny overhearing.

As they all sit down to eat Jenny delights in listening to old stories from when Johnny and Scott were younger by Johnny squirms, worried about what could come out.

Elsewhere, a panicked Daniel rushes to Adam's office, telling him that Nicky has got into trouble at the Bistro and is in custody.

Adam arrives at the station to find that Nicky has been released without charge. Later, she's touched when Daniel tells her she's helping him with his grief.

Daniel eventually admits to Adam that he's been paying Nicky to dress up as Sinead, pretending she's still alive, leaving Adam concerned.

Later when Adam bumps into Nicky in the street he sends some money her way, warning her to stay away from Daniel. What will she do?

After Peter convinces Abi to join him at an AA meeting, Abi expresses her thanks for his support, admitting the meeting was helpful.

But a passing Debbie witnesses their exchange and her suspicions about Abi's intentions toward her brother Kevin deepen.

Over at number 7, Dev is pouring over the month's bills despairing at how he will afford their monthly outgoings in the current climate.

Sensing her dad is stressed, Asha offers to take on a few shifts at Prima Doner thinking he'll be able to save some cash by not paying the staff.

Dev is thankful, but the news doesn't go down well with Cathy who later moans to Asha about Dev cutting her shifts without warning.

Meanwhile, David is buoyed when Nina mentions to him that Shona's mood seems to improve whenever he's around, and he's given a new lease of confidence.

Wanting to spend more time together, David whisks Shona off for a romantic walk in the park but things soon take an awkward turn.

Later on, Shona corners David in Victoria Gardens and apologises for her actions, knowing that it was inappropriate but at a loss for how to control her behaviour.

Over at Speed Dahl, Alya is livid when Geoff turns up for his shift as if nothing has happened and tells her she's no right to ask him to leave.

Alya's mood grows even darker when Geoff tells her he's applied for an alcohol licence without Yasmeen's permission.

Still determined to support his dad, Tim is taken aback when Ryan tells him that Geoff has been undermining Alya and Yasmeen for months.

Back at home, Tim shares his thoughts with Sally and lets slip about the CCTV. Aghast, Sally begs Tim to open his eyes to who his father really is.

Sean continues to fret over Todd's whereabouts. Logging off the missing persons website for the umpteeth time that day, Billy spots something that could help.

But first, here's everything happening this week on the cobbles.

Kevin Webster's protective big sister Debbie Webster is back in Weatherfield and has some words of warning for Kevin's girlfriend Abi Franklin who has a dark history with drug abuse.

Meanwhile, Abi's got her own protector in Peter Barlow who's determined to get her help, but Carla Connor worries about their relationship developing.

Is Tim finally seeing sense?

Elsewhere, Gemma Winter has managed to keep her surprise birthday party for her twin Paul Forman a secret and he's thrilled with her efforts. But things soon turn sour when Billy Mahew can't come because he's helping Sean Tilly search for Todd Grimshaw.

Daniel Osbourne struggles to form a connection with Nicky's friend Cherry online, and it looks like Geoff Metcalfe could be convinced to sell his half of Speed Dahl after all.
