Back in the 80's, as a way to counteract the male-dominated culture of wrestling, a group of fierce ladies took to the ring and made the TV show called GLOW, or, The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling.
Now, inspired by that short-lived but much-loved show, Netflix' new series GLOW tells the fictionalised story of those sassy women. It stars Alison Brie in the lead as a struggling actress who auditions along with 12 other women to form the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling.
The show, which was produced by the team behind Orange is the New Black, also stars Kate Nash (yes, that Kate Nash), Betty Gilpin and podcast host extraordinaire Marc Maron.
The series is wonderfully 80's! Think perms, spandex and a pretty epic jazzercise scene.
We had the chance to sit down and chat to the Gorgeous Ladies (and one man), so thought, naturally, a game of Would You Rather: 80's Edition would go down a treat!
Does Alison Brie prefer Madonna to Miley Cyrus? Or perms to mermaid hair? And who would choose a fidget spinner over a rubix cube?
