Dancing On Ice fans unhappy with Brooke Vincent after ‘bitter’ comments following Jake Quickenden's win
Oh dear!

Last night Jake Quickenden finally got his reality show success story when he was crowned winner of the 2018 series of Dancing On Ice. Jake, who appeared as a contestant in both the 2012 and 2014 series of The X Factor and came second on I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here in 2014, saw off tough competition from Coronation Street’s Brooke Vincent and rugby ace Max Evans to take the trophy.
However it was Brooke’s comments that left a sour taste in some viewers’ mouths.
Earlier in the night it was revealed that Max and his skating partner Ale Izquierdo had finished third in the competition after receiving the lowest viewer vote, which left Brooke and Jake to perform their interpretation of the famous Bolero to try win viewer votes.
Both skaters were praised by ice skating legends and Dancing On Ice judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, who won gold at the 1984 Winter Olympics for their Bolero routine.
However, the winner on the night was Jake who praised Brooke in the moments after his victory was revealed. But when hosts Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby turned to actress Brooke for her thoughts she remarked "Well you know what they say, first the worst, second the best".
She then continued to joke asking "Was it a fix?", leaving viewers confused as to why she couldn’t just praise Jake for his win. Jake was the only celebrity to get a ten throughout the 2018 series and even got a perfect score of 40 last week. Brooke was the underdog having really only become a contender in week seven so fans of the show took to Twitter to express their unhappiness at her comments.
Brooke, who plays Sophie Webster in the hit ITV soap, has said in the past she often speaks before she thinks.
After the show Jordan Banjo, brother of judge Ashley Banjo, interviewed Jake and his skating partner Vanessa Bauer about their win.
He also caught up with Brooke and her skating partner Matej Silecky.
