Following the live launch show on Sunday night (6th October), Big Brother fans were given their first glimpse of this year's housemates getting to know each other, and their new surroundings last night (Monday 7th October).

Whilst half of the housemates are in the main house, the other half are having to slum it out in the storage room, including 53-year-old Emma, 20-year-old Thomas, and 20-year-old Lily.

It didn't take long for Chinese takeaway assistant Lily to attract the attention of viewers, with her popping into the Diary Room to give her savage early opinion on Sarah, saying she "didn't like her."

Lily then made a snorting noise when describing the feeling she gets when she's near the 'attractive boys' in the house, before letting out a huge burp, then saying "bless me".

Later on in the episode, the 20-year-old from Warrington started to annoy her fellow housemates in the storage room, as she was trying to keep herself entertained, counting out very loudly up to 60.

After seeing her high-energy antics, viewers of the hit reality show were torn about Lily. Whilst some loved her and dubbed her the 'most perfect housemate', others branded her an 'attention seeker', with some saying she was 'annoying'.

One wrote: 'Only real big brother fans will love Lily, she’s the perfect housemate', with another adding: 'She’s got my vote already'. Another person commented: 'Only real Big Brother fans know she’s the real entertainment 😂'. (sic)

Kerry Riches from the 2023 series of Big Brother then wrote: 'Love Lily 🩷 she's young and the first night it so exciting, she's going to be amazing 👏🏻 she's just living her best life in the house xx'. (sic)

Others were slightly more negative towards Lily, with one adding: 'She's making me not want to watch tbh', and another person stating: 'I’m sorry but she gets on my nerves so much'. (sic)

A third gasped: 'There’s gonna be drama around Lily because she’s gonna annoy the housemates and eventually it will kick off which is good for big brother lol but I couldn’t live with her 😂'. (sic)
