Post Malone announces release date of new album

New music is on the way!

Post Malone has announced the name and release date of his fifth album. The self-titled album is called 'Austin' and is set to be released in a couple of months.

The 'Rockstar' hitmaker released his last album 'Twelve Carat Toothache' in May 2022, which features his hit 'One Right Now' with The Weeknd. Post Malone has recently been performing in the UK on his 'Twelve Carat Tour.'

Taking to Twitter to share the news, Post Malone, who's real name is Austin Richard Post, said: 'Proud to announce my new album titled 'Austin' dropping on July 28th.

'This whole deal has been one of the most challenging, rewarding and exciting records I've worked on. i feel it captures who i am as a man and as an artist in this moment. thank y'all so much for your patience, and thank you for being there with me in my hardest times.

'i love y'all so much, and am ready to f------ party with y'all. cheers, and keep spreading love.' (sic)

The announcement comes after the release of Post Malone's latest single, 'Chemical', which reached Number 11 in the UK Chart and was written and produced by Post Malone. The rapper and singer is also set to drop his next single 'Mourning' on Friday 19th May.

Ellie Goulding - 'Higher Than Heaven'

Ellie Goulding's fifth album 'Higher Than Heaven' was pushed back nearly two weeks after she revealed she had some 'exciting opportunities'. The album, which includes 12 songs has now been released.

Freya Ridings - 'Blood Orange'

Freya is known for her hits 'Castles' and 'Lost Without You', in 2023 she released her second album 'Blood Orange', which includes her single 'Weekends'.

Ed Sheeran

Ed Sheeran's sixth album is now out. In February 2023, fans of the singer started to receive yellow notebooks with the subtract symbol, Ed then shared a social media post about it, appearing to confirm the album's name.
