Noah Cyrus: A collaboration with Miley might be on the cards

The 17-year-old finished school a year early to start her music career

Noah Cyrus has spent her life surrounded by musicians, whether it be her Dad, Billy Ray, or her sister Miley.

So it makes sense that she also wanted to follow in their footsteps and pursue a music career.

Focused on achieving her dream, the 17-year-old buckled down and finished school early so she could hit the road and start playing her music.

And it's going well so far - her debut single Make Me (Cry) with Labrinth has been streamed over a million times.

Right now she's picking which songs will make the cut on her first album, called NC-17, with Noah saying she's got over 100 tracks to decide between.

So will big sister Miley appear? Well Noah told us there are no current plans:

"Maybe one day, I don't know...obviously everyone knows me for me now, so yeh, maybe one day Miley and I could do something."

Having a family that understands the business has helped her too and she told us the main advice they've given her is "to always be yourself and don't let anyone change you".

On International Women's Day Noah posted a picture of Lady Gaga on Instagram, adding in the caption that she is her inspiration.

Despite Noah being pretty used to rubbing shoulders with stars, she's yet to meet her idol, but when she does she says she'll tell Gaga exactly how she feels.

But the one thing she won't do? Fan girl. Noah even joked that she rarely seems excited at things!
