Little Mix's backing dancer is a Eurovision 2018 contender
Good luck!
Last updated 11th Jan 2018
We're only a few months away from the cheesiest music competition around, the annual Eurovision Song Contest, so it's no surprise that we need to decide soon on this year's entry.
With only a month until the show where we choose this year's representative it's been revealed that one of the contenders is a little known Little Mix backing dancer, Rachel Clark.
Of course singing is very different to dancing, but in her showreel uploaded to YouTube she sounds pretty good! Have a watch of the video below.
There's no hiding the fact that in recent year's the joke of 'nil point' has been overused and in 2015 and 2016 we came 24th in the competition. Even worse, in 2003, 2008 and 2010 we came last, but with the relative success of Lucie Jones last year, could things be about to change? After all Lucie had the UK's best score for many years.
Rachel is expected to take to the stage along with other hopefuls in Brighton Dome on the 7th February, when a show presented by Mel Giedroyc and 2015 Eurovision Song Contest winner Måns Zelmerlöw will be filmed. During the programme the hopefuls will perform six brand new songs trying to impress both the panel of judges and the viewers at home.
The winner be chosen by combining the public and judges vote. They will then go forward to represent the UK in May.
This year's Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Portugal and will be hosted by four female presenters.
You can learn more about this year's hosts in the video below released recently.
The Eurovision Song Contest will take place on Saturday 12 May 2018.
