Harry Styles reveals exciting details about his new album
We won't have to wait too long!
Last updated 7th Apr 2017
Today is an exciting time for Harry Styles' fans around the world as he drops his debut single 'Sign of the Times'. We caught up with him recently to chat about his new music.
While Harry kept tight-lipped about the name and release date of the album, he said he is "super proud" of it and we won't have to wait "too long". He also told us that there won't be any collaborations featured on it.
Harry might have teased the name of his new single, over the past week or so, but we haven’t had a chance to hear it until today. Only a few people have heard it before, one of them being his former mentor, now friend, Simon Cowell. Harry told us, "I think he liked it, he said he did".
However, if you’re expecting to hear music like Harry’s former group One Direction then you’re in for a surprise. The 23-year-old singer told us his music sounds different to his former band’s music, but that wasn’t intentional.
"I kind of just wanted to write what I wanted to listen to," he said explaining he always enjoyed the music he made with One Direction.
Harry shot to fame back in 2010 when he auditioned for The X Factor as a solo artist. Later in the show, music mogul Simon Cowell assembled boyband One Direction made up of Harry, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik.
Despite finishing third on the show, One Direction went on to become one of the biggest selling boybands and scored a massive 14 top ten hits, including four number ones.
Harry’s brand new song is now on our playlist and you can listen to throughout the day on your favourite radio station.
