It's an exciting day in the music industry when the highly-coveted GRAMMY nominations are revealed, and this year there is plenty of excitement in the Jay-Z camp, as he leads with a massive eight noms.

The 21-time GRAMMY Award winner is closely followed by 'HUMBLE.' rapper Kendrick Lamar who is up for seven awards and Bruno Mars who has been nominated for six.

Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee featuring Justin Bieber who released their summer hit 'Despacito' have been nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Record Of The Year and Song of the Year.

The Best Pop Solo Performance nominations include Kelly Clarkson, 'Love So Soft', Kesha, 'Praying', Lady Gaga, 'Million Reasons', P!nk, 'What About U' and Ed Sheeran, 'Shape Of You'.

Speaking about this year's nominees Neil Portnow, President/CEO of the Recording Academy said, "I'm inspired by this year's nominees and the incredible talent each possesses.

"Their recordings are a true testament to how creatively alive and meaningful our music industry has become."

The GRAMMYs will take place at Madison Square Gardens on Sunday 28th January.
