Over the last week Ed Sheeran's fans have been speculating that a collab with longtime friend Taylor Swift could be on the horizon, as they continued to noticed more 'evidence' that the pair had been working together. After all the speculation, Ed Sheeran has now confirmed that his latest collaboration is with Taylor Swift and revealed when it would be out!

While at the BRIT Awards on Tuesday 8th February, Ed spoke to LADbible on the red carpet and revealed that his next single: “Comes out on Friday and it’s with Taylor Swift”.

He added: "We’re literally announcing that in like an hour", and although the song has not officially been announced yet, we've got our fingers crossed that we'll get to hear the duo's latest collab on Friday 11th February.

While Ed didn't share any more details about the single, fans are convinced that the two have worked on a remixed version of Ed's 'The Joker And The Queen' song from his latest album '='.

Rumours that Ed and Taylor had been working together started flying when fans of the singers noticed that when the lyric video for 'The Joker And The Queen' was uploaded to YouTube, the song name featuring Taylor Swift.

Despite, the information later being removed, a fan account has shared a screenshot of the information which has caused many fans to believe the remix of the new song from Ed does in fact include Taylor. 👀

This followed Ed's post on Instagram last week, when he shared a photo of a CD cover he was signing. The cover was of a playing card, half Queen of Hearts and half Joker. The dad-of-one captioned his pic: 'Signing some cds for something coming in a bit, keep an eye out'. (sic)

And it wasn't long before fans were speculating this could be a sign that Ed Sheeran is about to release a collab with none other than Taylor Swift, because the Queen of Hearts looks a bit like Taylor. 👀

Since the photo appeared on Instagram fans have been asking: 'THE REMIX WITH TAYLOR, RIGHT?', and 'Taylor's collab finally????? 😍'. (sic)

Others seem very sure that the singer is confirming the collab saying: 'JOKER AND THE QUEEN REMIX FEAT TAYLOR SWIFT IS COMING OH MY GODDDDDD😍😍😍😍', and '@taylorswift you look nice in the artwork!!!❤️'. (sic)

The artwork shared appears to relate to Ed's song 'The Joker and the Queen', which features on his '=' album. The singer previously revealed: "I’ve done a collaboration for it that will come out in the new year with someone I just love," however, he didn't reveal who.
