Dua Lipa bagged her first UK Number 1 this weekend. Making her the first UK solo female to do so since’s Adele’s ‘Hello’ in 2015. Yes really! Little Mix are the only other women to score Number 1’s since Adele!
Dua’s hit ‘New Rules’ climbed up the charts from number 5 to take the top spot this weekend.
Dua celebrated her achievement with cake of course! Telling the Official Charts company: ‘Thank you so much for supporting New Rules – we are officially Number 1! Thank you for sharing it with all your friends, for streaming it, for downloading it. I love you, this means a lot to me.'
