Kristen Wiig's career started out doing impressions on Saturday Night Live (if you haven't seen her one of Kris Jenner, I highly recommend it!), but she really struggled when we challenged her to do one of her co-star Steve Carell.

Mind you, he was no better at doing one of her - and we're glad, because the end result is probably more funny!

Steve explained to us why doing an impression of someone you like is tough, saying: “They tend to be sort of mean. You tend to pick something about that person and jump on it."

Watch their attempts below, they're sure to make you laugh >>>

We were actually talking to Steve and Kristen about Despicable Me 3.

Kristen is back playing Lucy Wilde while Steve returns as Gru, but adds a new character in his long-lost brother Dru.

If you've watched the previous films you'll know that Gru has transitioned from a villain to a family man - but in this movie his long-lost brother tries to drag him back to his life of crime.

While Gru and Lucy are great, one of the best parts about the franchise is the Minions.

Before the films, being called a minion was pretty negative, but that's all changed since the first film hit cinemas in 2010.

Now we all think of the cute, yellow ones that follow Gru around.

And, according to Kristen Wiig at least, that was the intention of the film: "That’s how the series started…they were like, what can we do to change (the meaning of the word), and then they built the movie around it."

It's changed the meaning so much that according to Steve "now people want to be minions, people are studying to be minions, going to school to be minions. It’s more of a vocation now than it ever has been".

We'll take that with a pinch of salt...but check out the rest of our chat with Kristen Wiig and Steve Carell below >>>
