Scarlett Johansson thinks her Mum made her break the law as a child
The actress can be seen in new film Ghost in the Shell
Every four years Scarlett Johansson's mum took her to the polling station and let her help push the button to vote - something Scarlett jokes is probably illegal!
So, when the first opportunity to get her two-year-old daughter Rose involved in politics came along, Scarlett leaped at it, telling us: "When I went to vote this year I took my daughter with me and I went; 'We're voting! For a woman!'
"Unfortunately it didn't turn out that way, but it was great to involve her in the political process."
Scarlett also told us that being Mum to Rose is her "favourite job" and that it is the "best thing that ever happened to me".
She went on to say she loves "being able to show my daughter that her mum is making it happen and doing a job that I love".
It's also a job she's good at - Scarlett is the highest-grossing actress of all time, with her films having made over $3.3 billion. She was also the highest-grossing actor of 2016, raking in a cool $1.2 billion at the box office.
In her latest film 'Ghost in the Shell' she plays a cyborg called the Major who leads a counter cyber-terrorism team.
Some will see it as the 'Black Widow' movie she hasn't had the opportunity to make, but Scarlett told us: "'I chose roles based on whether I feel that it's something I haven't really done before, if it's going to be an experience that will be challenging for me in a good way and I feel that I don't know how I'm going to play the character, but I feel like I can."
She then went on to say that if people take more from it - like finding the character empowering - that is an added extra to her.
