Reese Witherspoon CONFIRMS Legally Blonde 3 in the most Elle Woods way

In what could be the best news EVER for Legally Blonde fans, there's a Legally Blonde 3 in the works with Reese Witherspoon reprising her iconic role as Elle Woods. According to Deadline, film company MGM are "nearing a deal" with 42-year-old Reese to star as Elle Woods once again.
They've reportedly brought back the original creative team from the beloved first film, which came out in 2001, with original writers Kirsten "Kiwi" Smith and Karen McCullah in "final talks" to write the script.
Reese, who has been starring in TV show Big Little Lies - which she is also executive producer of - alongside Nicole Kidman and Shailene Woodley since 2017, will also possibly be a producer on the new film.
Taking to Instagram, Reese confirmed the news with a video of herself wearing her signature Elle Woods sparkly pink bikini with the caption, 'It’s true... #LegallyBlonde3.'
The second film, Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde, came out in 2003 and was just as revered as the first - however, the 2009 film Legally Blondes which was produced by Reese, was panned universally.
Although there aren't yet any details on what Elle might have been up to in the last 15 years, the second film did end with Elle having her eye on the White House.

Fans of the franchise have been completely divided by the news, and took to Twitter to vent their feelings with many being overjoyed at the news.
However, others weren't convinced.
