Zayn Malik reveals how he overcame his eating disorder
The singer has revealed all
He was once part of the biggest boyband in the world and now has a successful solo career, but it hasn't all been plain sailing for Zayn Malik.
After going through a high profile break-up with Perrie Edwards and sensationally quiting One Direction, Zayn was battling an eating disorder whilst living in the public eye.
Now the 24-year-old has bravely opened up about the disorder and revealed how he beat it with the help from his mum Trisha.

Calling it a 'control thing', Zayn admitted all aspects of his life were controlled and the only thing he could say no to was food.
Speaking to The Times, Zayn said, "Once I got over the control, the eating just came back into place, super naturally.
"Not supernaturally! Just really naturally. I came back to the UK and spent some time with my mum and got some TLC, and she cooked me food and I got back in touch, mentally, with a lot of the things I’d lost."
The 'Pillowtalk' singer first documented his struggles with the disorder in his autobiography which was released in 2016.
In a segment of the book, Zayn wrote, "I was suffering from an eating disorder … It wasn’t as though I had any concerns about my weight or anything like that, I’d just go for days – sometimes two or three days straight – without eating anything at all.
"It got quite serious, although at the time I didn’t recognise it for what it was."
Now the 24-year-old has revealed he believes opening up about the eating disorder has been a factor in overcoming it.
Speaking candidly, Zayn said people saw strength in it because they didn't expect it from a man.
After storming the charts in both the UK and US with his debut album 'Mind Of Mine', Zayn is now working hard on his second solo album and revealed he's 'really happy' with what he has so far.
We can't wait to hear what he has in store!
